R. I. Smith Lobster Co., Ltd is located on the southern tip of “Canada’s Ocean Playground”, in Bear Point, Nova Scotia. The office and tank facilities are situated on the coast with a view of the nearby harbour’s fishing boats and our lobster pound. Taking the 103 highway from Halifax, we are approximately 300 Km West. The Yarmouth, Nova Scotia to Bar Harbor, Maine ferry as well as the Digby, Nova Scotia to Saint John, New Brunswick ferry is within a couple hours drive from our location.

at left is our lobster pound and tank house facilities in Bear Point,
Nova Scotia. The Bear Point location is central to our lobster
operation. The tank houses provide a large and convenient holding and
packing area. Our main office has been recently relocated to this area.
